New Fire Department

We attended the town's celebration in honor of the new Fire Department. It was dreadfully hot, and right after lunch, creating a high risk for disaster. Luckily, we all survived, just barely.

It was a 'Wocket' and 'Husky' kind of day. Last minute desperation on our behalf to keep the cubs content...these stuffed little guys are never allowed in public, except in emergencies.

We waited over an hour for this. In 100+ degree heat. The balloon popped as we were walking to the car. Barely survived the aftermath. Em cried and cried but we were NOT going back for another one.
